Jordan-Hare Stadium sits roughly 30 miles from the Georgia border as the crow flies. Atlanta – depending on where in town you are and traffic – is an easy 90-minute car ride down Interstate 85 to the Auburn campus. And the Georgia capital is home to more Auburn graduates than any city outside Alabama.
Auburn and Georgia always have been closely connected, especially in football.
