Preseason camp has only been going one week, but it looks as if Arkansas already has had one unexpected breakdown in the air game.

A group of 17 Razorbacks football players were trapped in a stuck elevator at the team’s practice facility Tuesday. The players were reportedly stranded inside the stalled-out elevator for about 50 minutes.

That brought out the Fayetteville Fire Department, ladder truck and all, to bring the Razorbacks back to the outside world.

KNWA’s Pig Trail Nation even posted a photo of the offending elevator.

One possible culprit: weight. Rivals.com’s Trey Biddy did a bit of detective work and found that the players brought some serious weight into that elevator.

It wasn’t specified whether the delay forced any of the players to miss practice time, meetings or other team activities. But it’s definitely a unique bonding experience.
