The SEC will begin its 2017 spring practice workouts in the near future.

All 14 SEC teams will begin action by at least March and hold the 15 practices permitted during the spring practice season. Each school, aside from Vanderbilt, also will conclude the offseason practices with a spring game as its final practice. The Commodores will have a spring showcase in its place.

At least five schools will start spring practice in late February, while at least four others will start during the first half of March. At least three schools will start nearing the end of March and two have not yet released a start date.

Of the spring games, five will be played on April 7-8 and four will be played on April 22.
