2017 Virginia Tech Maroon-Orange spring game: TV info, live stream, game time

Virginia Tech will hold its 2017 Maroon-Orange spring game at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia.

The annual intrasquad scrimmage will be broken up into two teams – Maroon and Orange – and be held on Saturday, April 22. A Kickoff time and television broadcast have not yet been announced.

Admission has been free to the public in the past.

For Virginia Tech, it will be its second spring game under coach Justin Fuente. Last year, it drew an estimated crowd of 44,700.

The Orange team (first-team offense) defeated the Maroon team (first-team defense), 20-15, in the 2016 Maroon-Orange spring game.

Virginia Tech already has announced the 2017 Maroon-Orange spring game. Last year, the school held a day-long Fan Fest celebration.. Last year, the school held a day-long Fan Fest celebration.

Virginia Tech is coming off a season in which it went 10-4. The Hokies were coached by Frank Beamer for 29 consecutive seasons prior to last year.
