Three-star wide receiver Shedrick Jackson has three SEC offers, including his most recent offer from Missouri on May 4.
Jackson’s SEC offers are from Auburn, Mississippi State and Missouri. He has a family history at Auburn. You may have heard of his uncle, a former Tigers running back who goes by “Bo.”
But Shedrick Jackson prefers not to talk about his uncle, instead focusing on his own game.
“As a wide receiver, I’m definitely explosive,” Jackson told GN. “People see me and think, ‘He’s a big guy, so he might not be able to run too fast.’ But when I’m on the field I’m faster than anybody out there. I have speed and I play physical. I would definitely say that I am versatile as a wide receiver.”
Jackson (6 feet 1, 195 pounds) is from Hoover (Ala.) High. He is among the top 20 overall prospects in Alabama for the class of 2018.

Jackson’s most recent offer came from Missouri.
“The Missouri coaches came out and watched me at practice,” Jackson said. “They liked what they saw, so they decided to offer me. I’ve always known Missouri to be a good football team since they moved to the SEC, but I don’t really know much about them as far as campus or anything like that.”
He’s already more familiar with two SEC West schools in the mix.
“I’ve met the Mississippi State coaches and have been to the campus three or four times,” Jackson said. “I love it down there.”
