For the first time in two years, Tennessee was able to say it had a successful NFL draft class – or at the least any players drafted at all.
In the 2017 NFL draft, the Volunteers had six players selected – which ranked among the most of any school in the country. In 2015 and 2016, no Tennessee player was taken, marking the first time in school history it went back-to-back years without a player selected.
Here’s a look at the five Vols players who appear most likely to be selected in the 2018 NFL draft.
WR Jauan Jennings
The buzz: Jennings will be a junior this season, but his ability is remarkable. Jennings (6 feet 3, 205 pounds) is known for his ultra-competitive nature. With an improved passing attack, Jennings could far surpass the 40 receptions and 580 yards he amassed last season. Jennings may have too much physical ability to stay around for his senior season. If he opts out, he’ll be drafted for sure.
