“After many hours, days, and long talks with the family, I have decided to decommit from Louisiana State University and reopen my commitment,” Anderson wrote. “I want to thank all of the coaches from LSU for believing in me and trying to build a relationship with me as well. I believe this is the best time for me to do this. Please respect my decision, for which God would only point me to the best direction. Let God be with you!”
Anderson had originally been committed to Georgia before deciding to flip to LSU on April 22. He also holds offers from Alabama, Auburn and Clemson.
LSU has now suffered its second decommitment in as many days, following three-star running back AJ Carter’s decision to recommit to UCLA.
