Sparks (6 feet 0, 170 pounds) attends from Geismar (La.) Dutchtown, the same prep alma mater as Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy. Sparks is considered one of the nation’s top 90 cornerbacks in the class of 2017.
He chose Missouri over offers from Vanderbilt, Purdue and Wake Forest, among others. He originally had been committed to Vanderbilt, but reopened his recruiting after an early-December visit to Mizzou.
Sparks is the second corner to commit to Mizzou in this class.
