Starting to have second thoughts about Texas A&M’s Myles Garrett? A former Aggies teammate says teams won’t like the results if they pass him up.
Texas A&M wide receiver Christian Kirk defended his teammate in a Twitter post Tuesday morning.
Thought I might chime in on this Myles Garrett criticism.. if you buy into any of it, you're gonna be severely mistaken next fall
— Christian Kirk (@ChristianDavon2) April 25, 2017
Kirk’s post comes at a time when Garrett, projected for many months as the likely top overall pick in this week’s NFL draft, has come under increased scrutiny.

Some have speculated that the Cleveland Browns, who hold the first overall draft choice, might instead use the pick on a quarterback, most likely Mitchell Trubisky of North Carolina.
Kirk, a rising junior, is himself considered a potential first-round prospect when he becomes eligible for the draft. Kirk and Garrett played together in College Station in 2015 and ’16.
