The Crimson Tide continue adding talent to what is currently the No.1 recruiting class in America.
Late last week, Alabama secured a commitment from four-star defensive end Antonio Alfano (Colonia, NJ) who is considered to be among the top-five strong-side ends in the country and also a top-75 overall talent nationally in the class of 2019.
With the addition of Alfano to their 2019 recruiting class, the TIde now have commitments from 13 of the top-300 recruits according to 247sports. That is five more than any other SEC program.
Georgia sits with eight top-300 commitments which is currently second in the SEC.
Here is a breakdown of what positions the Crimson Tide have addressed early on the 2019 recruiting trail.
Alabama has received commitments from four-star quarterbacks Taulia Tagovailoa (Alabaster, AL) and Paul Tyson (Trussville, AL). Both prospects are among the top-12 pro-style quarterbacks in the country for the class.
Taulia Tagovailoa is the younger brother of current Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. His football pedigree can’t compare to Tyson’s however, who is the great-grandson of Bear Bryant.
