Is Lane Kiffin ever going to quit aiming subtle and not-so-subtle Twitter jabs at former boss Nick Saban? By now, we all know the answer: Probably not.
Kiffin’s latest dig at Saban and Alabama comes in the wake of Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson’s swipe at coach Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots.
After winning Super Bowl LII, Johnson criticized the supposedly “miserable” atmosphere of the Patriots, a complaint that’s sometimes been leveled against Saban and the Crimson Tide program.

That drew a response on Twitter from Kiffin.

Kiffin, now coach at Florida Atlantic, served as Saban’s offensive coordinator for three seasons in a partnership that was successful on the field but apparently strained away from it. Kiffin ultimately abruptly exited the Tide for FAU before the 2016 national championship game against Clemson.
