Alabama has claimed national title number 17 and did so in dramatic fashion.

True freshman quarterback Tua Tagovailoa hit true freshman receiver DeVonta Smith with a 41-yard TD pass to win it after Georgia kicked a field goal on its OT possession. It was Smith’s only catch of the game and just his seventh reception of the season. The TD came one play after Tagovailoa was sacked for a 16-yard loss on the Tide’s first play of overtime.

It is Nick Saban’s sixth national title overall, tying him with Bear Bryant for the most of the poll era (since 1936). It also is the ninth time in 12 seasons that an SEC team has won the national title.

Tagovailoa-to-Smith will live in college football history, here’s a look at the pass, catch and celebration from every angle.
