Arkansas releases details for 2017 Fan Day

Arkansas released details, including its schedule of events, Saturday for its 2017 Fan Day.

The event, which will be held on Aug. 12, will begin at 1 p.m., when a one-hour open practice will be held in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

Beginning at 2:30 p.m., fan day will move to the Willard and Pat Walker Pavilion. Fans can receive autographs from Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema and players from 4-5 p.m.

Fans can also receive autographs from the Arkansas soccer and volleyball teams during the event and meet the Razorbacks’ Spirit Squad and Tusk.

Hog Heaven, the official team store of Arkansas athletics, will be open during the event and will have items to purchase such as footballs, mini helmets and hats to be autographed and a kid zone will be available, which will include inflatables, a photo booth, free caricature sketches and balloon art.

Parking is free and available in parking lots all along Razorback Road but Lots 72, 73, 73A, 74, FB Lot, and Meadow Street Parking Garage are recommended.

Fans will enter the stadium for the open practice through Gate 1. In case of inclement weather, the open practice would be cancelled.

No outside food or drinks, other than bottled water, will be allowed inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium or Walker Pavilion.

Arkansas announced on July 18 the date for its 2017 Fan Day.
