Arkansas will wear Cowboys-themed uniforms in Dallas against Texas A&M

Dallas Cowboys Arkansas uniforms

Arkansas Razorbacks wearing Dallas Cowboys jerseys? Well, almost – and fans will get a chance to see a new look for Razorbacks football team this weekend.

Arkansas will wear a uniform patterned on the Dallas Cowboys’ distinctive look when it plays Texas A&M at the Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, this Saturday.

The Razorbacks are showing off the Cowboys look in honor of Jerry Jones, who played on the Razorbacks’ 1964 national championship team and has owned the NFL franchise for the past 28 years. Jones has been a long-time supporter of Arkansas athletics and the Razorbacks’ student-athlete development building bears his name.

The big difference, though, is that instead of the Cowboys’ well-known blue and silver, Arkansas will be wearing the Razorbacks’ traditional cardinal shade.

Other than that, the uniforms will look a lot like the Cowboys’ gear, from the number and stripe patterns…

…to the helmet.

A side-by-side comparison shows just how much the Razorbacks will look like Dallas for a day:

The Razorbacks will kick off against the Aggies at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN. It’s a familiar matchup that dates back to the teams’ decades playing together in the now-defunct Southwest Conference.
