16. Southern Miss RB Ito Smith

The particulars: vs. Kentucky on September 2, at Tennessee on November 4.
The skinny: Smith (5 feet 9, 195 pounds) isn’t necessarily a great NFL prospect, but he is a high-level college running back. He was 11th in the nation in yards from scrimmage last season with 1,918, a total that is third among returning players. He rushed for 1,459 yards and had 43 receptions for 459 yards; he also totaled 19 TDs. In two games last season against SEC teams (Kentucky and LSU), he had 323 yards from scrimmage and two TDs.
