15. Kansas State CB D.J. Reed

The particulars: at Vanderbilt on September 16.
The skinny: Reed (5-9, 188) was a first-team All-Big 12 performer and the league’s defensive newcomer of the year last season after transferring in from junior college. He is solid against the run and has good coverage skills; he had 75 tackles, three interceptions and 16 pass breakups last season, a figure that was tied for fourth nationally.
