South Carolina wide receiver Deebo Samuel is injured. That much is known. The actual injury and the severity is in question.
Samuel was hurt in Saturday night’s loss to Kentucky. South Carolina coach Will Muschamp said it was a broken leg that will sideline Samuel for the season, and the SEC Network responded with a tweet saying just that.

But both Samuel and his mother say the injury is to his ankle and that he will be back in five to six weeks.
Thank all y'all for the support…… it's is not a broken leg low ankle fracture we will be back in 5-6 weeks #GoGamecocks❤️
