Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses was one of the most impressive Crimson Tide players at its recent physical testing day. He also was an impressive player in high school, too.
Moses, now a freshman early enrollee at the school this spring, was a five-star prospect before arriving in Tuscaloosa during his time at Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy. He even was the high school Butkus Award winner this past season when he had had 147 tackles (eight for loss) and two sacks.
So good was Moses as a prep player that he famously first received an offer from Alabama (as well as LSU) when he was still an eighth grader.
