What’s the record for most coaches from one school participating in an in-home visit? Whatever it is, Ed Orgeron and LSU might have broken that mark in their pursuit of four-star prospect JaMarr Chase.
Orgeron and company – make that pretty much the entire LSU football staff – visited the elite receiver prospect at his home during Super Bowl Sunday.
Want proof? Chase posted a photo with the group on Twitter:

That group includes coaches like defensive coordinator Dave Aranda, second from left, whose responsibilities don’t even come close to overlapping with Chase’s role.
Interpretation: LSU really, really wants to add Chase, among the most coveted recruits still on the board ahead of National Signing Day.
The 6-1, 195-pound receiver plays for Metairie (La.) Archbishop Rummel. He has previously de-committed from both Kansas and Florida.
Though schools like Auburn and Michigan are still in the running, LSU appears to be the favorite to land Chase, and last night’s visit won’t hurt.
