Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs seems to be gaining popularity among NFL executives as the draft is approaching, and former NFL scout and current ESPN analyst Louis Riddick believes Dobbs’ better playing days are in front of him.

Riddick’s comments came on Wednesday’s “Mike & Mike In The Morning” on ESPN Radio.

Through most of the run-up to the draft, Dobbs was expected to go relatively late on the third day. But as the draft approaches, he seemingly is gaining momentum as an earlier pick, to the point that NFL.com draft analyst Chad Reuter has him as a third-round selection.

Dobbs has impressed teams with his intelligence and maturity during the draft vetting process.
