Five SEC teams made the final top 25 in the coaches poll, but just one – No. 2 Alabama – finished in the top 10 released Tuesday.

Clemson finished No. 1 after knocking off the Crimson Tide, 35-31, in the College Football Playoff national championship Monday night. For the Tigers, it’s their first title since 1981.

No. 13 Florida, No. 14 LSU, No. 22 Auburn and No. 24 Tennessee were the other SEC teams in the final poll.

Alabama (14-1) had been ranked No. 1 in the poll for the entirety of the season until Tuesday’s release.

The ACC, Pac-12 and SEC each had five teams in the final poll. The Big Ten had four, though all were in the top 10. The Big 12 had three and the AAC, Mid-American and Mountain West had one each.

The SEC had the same teams in the final Associated Press poll of the season, though they were in a different order.
