GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida student Aisia Valmyr, 18, was arrested for punching Florida Gators defensive end Antonneous Clayton in the head early Sunday morning.

The police report said she told officers she argued with Clayton in the Keys Residential Complex on the UF campus. She was booked on a battery charge and released on her recognizance late Sunday.

Clayton told police that he was punched and felt pain on the right side of his temple.

Clayton was the highest-rated player in Florida’s 2016 recruiting class; he was a consensus national top-30 prospect out of Vienna (Ga.) Dooly County.

He saw limited action in 2016, as he dealt with the flu in the beginning of the season. Clayton (6 feet 3, 220 pounds) played in five games and had three tackles and a fumble recovery. He is expected to be a key part of the rotation at end in 2017.
