The 7 Florida State players most likely to be selected in 2018 NFL draft

Florida State had a somewhat disappointing 2017 NFL draft, with just four players selected. The Seminoles have had just six players selected in the past two drafts combined.

FSU had 11 players selected in 2014 alone, and next year’s draft numbers should be closer to that total. The Seminoles likely will enter the season with a top-five ranking, which reflects the amount of talent on the roster.

Let’s take a look at the seven FSU players most likely to be selected in the 2018 NFL draft.

The buzz: The 2018 draft conversation for Florida State begins with James. Assuming he declares early, it seems likely he will be the first safety selected; he also could possibly go in the top five. He missed most of last season because of a lateral meniscus tear in his left knee, but he looks poised to bounce back in a big way this fall.
