Gators can’t take anything for granted against Colorado State

Florida Gators

Tackle, Tackle, Tackle

It was appalling to see how many missed tackles there were from the Florida defense last Saturday. More than 20. Can’t happen again.

The good news here is that most of the time the Gators were in position to make a play, the bad news, they didn’t make the play. This goes back to fundamentals. Basic tackling cost the Gators in a big way last week.

Bring Excitement Back to Gator Nation

The win vs. Charleston Southern two weeks ago brought an excitement back to the Swamp that hadn’t been seen in a while; last week, that excitement came to a crashing stop.

This is the last home game for Florida until October 6. The Gators need to reignite that energy which was. It is vital they accomplish that this week because based on the events last Saturday, who knows how many chances this team will have to excite the Gator Nation in 2018.

Florida and Colorado State are set for a 4:00 kickoff on the SEC Network.
