Georgia Bulldogs best in the nation … on Twitter!

Georgia has added a late commitment to its 2017 class in JUCO WR Ahkil Crumpton.

The University of Georgia’s official athletic department Twitter account has the most followers in all of college sports, according to Skull Sparks. The Bulldogs’ general department account has over 467,000 followers.

The Georgia football account is also one of the tops. According to the same outlet, 465,000 people follow the gridiron Bulldogs.

Alabama football has the most fans following the program in the SEC, with 640,000 followers. The Crimson Tide is followed in the conference by LSU, Tennessee and Georgia.

While Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said his team is not yet ready to play the Crimson Tide on the field, they are superior to Alabama when it comes to Twitter. The Wolverines’ football program’s Twitter account has the most followers in college football, according to Skull Sparks.
