It’s not an uncommon happening on any college campus anywhere to see a car booted for illegally parking somewhere.

But when that happens, the owner of the vehicle probably usually isn’t an NFL star like Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.

Clinton-Dix’s Porsche received that fate Thursday when he parked it on the sidewalk outside of Alabama’s football practice facility. And on top of that, he first learned about it on Twitter.

Ugghhh they got me‼️‼️‼️ I'm so blessed😎

But luckily for Clinton-Dix, it appeared to be unbooted roughly 30 minutes later, which he also learned on Twitter. And for him that was especially good news because he said he had a class to attend later.
Still, the parking ticket that originally accompanied the boot remained, but that hardly seemed to be a major concern for Clinton-Dix who signed an $8 million contract when he was selected by the Green Bay Packers with the 21st overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Clinton-Dix, who played three seasons at Alabama from 2011-13, has been taking classes on campus this semester to work on his degree.

Clinton-Dix, a safety, was a second-team All-Pro and a first-time Pro Bowl selection this past season, his third in the NFL.
