Tim Tebow helped make the night of a young fan on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday.
Tebow gave a surprise dance to Judy Adams who had asked him to go to prom with her.
Tebow couldn’t go to prom with her because of his scheduling conflicts, but he invited Adams to sit in the audience for the taping of the show.
Tebow, who was discussing his charity work with host Jimmy Fallon, was discussing “Night to Shine” event, his annual worldwide prom event for special needs children before bringing Adams on to the set for a dance.
Adams, Tebow said, attended a “Night to Shine” prom in New York in February, when it was held.
Tebow himself said he never attended prom in high school because of his athletic commitments.
Tebow, a former Florida and NFL quarterback who won the Heisman Trophy with the Gators in 2007, is playing minor league baseball for the Columbia Fireflies, the New York Mets’ Class A affiliate. He also recently signed a multi-year contract extension with ESPN.
