If you live in Auburn or visit often, you will most likely catch a glimpse of one of Auburn’s greatest athletes of all-time: Bo Jackson.
Jackson makes it a point to show his face on campus regularly and most notably for his annual “Bo Bikes Bama” charity event where he leads a group of bikers through Alabama, giving participants the choice of a 60 or 20-mile ride. Each year before the bikers take off, Jackson also holds a silent auction to raise money for the Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund to provide assistance in case of natural or man-made disasters around Alabama.
This year, Jackson recruited a visitor for the silent auction that’s as famous as him, if not more, especially around the Auburn community: Cam Newton.

The last time Newton attended the auction was when he was working toward finishing his degree two years ago.
According to the Bo Bikes Bama Facebook page, the two will be available for pictures, although they’re not guaranteed to reach everyone due to the number of fans expected at the event.
The silent auction takes place on April 28th and will be held in the Red Barn at Auburn’s Agriculture Heritage Park. The price for tickets is $100 each.
