Despite being from California, four-star cornerback Isaac Taylor-Stuart is heavily interested in three SEC programs.
“Right now, I’m just trying to take all my official visits and I’m just taking it slow,” Taylor-Stuart told GN. “I’m looking at Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M, Washington and Ohio State. My favorite right now is Texas A&M.”
Taylor-Stuart just returned from a visit to Texas A&M and liked what he saw.
“My visit to Texas A&M was great,” Taylor-Stuart said. “I got a chance to see a lot and meet a whole bunch of new people.”

Taylor-Stuart (6 feet 2, 187 pounds) is from La Mesa (Calif.) Helix, in the San Diego area. He is one of the top-five cornerbacks nationally and a top-30 prospect overall. Taylor-Stuart also is planning to visit Alabama and Georgia.
“I do think about that sometimes,” Taylor-Stuart said regarding his high national ranking. “I realize what a true blessing it is to be recognized as one of the top recruits in the nation.”
He’s not lacking in confidence.
“I describe myself as one of the fastest and quickest defensive backs ever,” Taylor-Stuart said. “I’m a wrap-up, secure tackler, and I can jump with any wide receiver in the nation. I’m a game-changer.”
Taylor-Stuart has enjoyed the recruiting process.
“I’m loving it because it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” he said.
Helix High has produced a number of high-profile athletes, including Reggie Bush, Alex Smith and Bill Walton. In addition, actor Dennis Hopper and Costco co-founder Jim Sinegal are Helix alums.
