— UW FB Recruiting (@PurpleReign_UW) February 6, 2018
The news was first announced by the recruiting Twitter account for the Huskies. The news was confirmed by Eason on his personal account.
Eason leaves Georgia, after losing his starting job to Jake Fromm in 2017. He served in a backup role after injuring his knee in the season opening game against Appalachian State.
The former five-star prospect leaves Georgia after throwing for 2,458 yards and 16 touchdowns. He will more than likely have to sit out the 2018 season for his transfer.
Washington will have Jake Browning back for his senior season. He has helped lead UW to a College Football Playoff Semifinal Game and ‘New Years Six’ bowl game over the last two years.
