Florida doesn’t just have four-star quarterback Matt Corral committed to its 2018 class, the Gators have added a high-quality receiver as well. Four-star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase committed to the Gators on Sunday night, he announced on Twitter.

Chase, at 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, plays for Metairie (La.) Archbishop Rummel. His addition gives Florida an Under Armour All-American at the receiver position.
Chase was expected to announce his college decision – then believed to be either TCU or LSU – earlier in the month on the NFL Network at the Nike Opening Finals. However, the network bumped Chase from his scheduled time slot to make way for defensive lineman Greg Emerson’s selection of Tennessee.
Chase joins Corral and several others – tight ends Dante Lang and Kyle Pitts, safety Randy Russell and offensive lineman Curtis Dunlap – who committed to the Gators this week in the 2018 recruiting class alone.
