Is Texas A&M defensive coordinator John Chavis about to leave the Aggies for his fourth SEC team? Reports indicate he might be on the move again.

Chavis is expected to leave Texas A&M following the Belk Bowl to take over as defensive coordinator for Chad Morris at Arkansas, as reported by FootballScoop.com.

The Razorbacks rank 102nd nationally in total defense.

Chavis, 61, has headed up the Aggies’ defense since 2015. He previously served as defensive coordinator under Phillip Fulmer at Tennessee from 1995 to 2008, then held the same position under Les Miles at LSU from 2009-14.

Texas A&M still has at least one more game with Chavis as defensive coordinator, the Belk Bowl against Wake Forest on December 29 in Charlotte.
