Kentucky reportedly has added Murray State to its 2018 non-conference schedule. While neither school officially has announced the matchup, FBSchedules.com said it has been made.

The game is scheduled for Sept. 15, 2018, and Murray State reportedly will be paid $450,000 to make the trip to Commonwealth Stadium.

The Wildcats also will play Central Michigan, Middle Tennessee and Louisville in non-conference games that season. Their rivalry game with the Cardinals satisfies the SEC requirement’s to schedule at least one non-conference “Power Five” opponent.

FBSchedules.com reported that Kentucky had been scheduled to play FCS member Chattanooga in 2018, but the game never was finalized because of contractual issues.
