8. Deion Jones, linebacker, Atlanta Falcons
Jones attended LSU from 2012-2015, but only found himself as a starting linebacker during his senior season. 2015 was a breakout year for Jones as he recorded 100 tackles, 13.5 of which were for loss, and added five quarterback sacks and two interceptions.
Jones was drafted in the second-round, 52nd overall, of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Falcons.
Since arriving in Atlanta in 2016, Jones has made a big impact on the Falcons defense. He has accumulated 166 tackles in his 29 starts, adding six interceptions, two of which he has returned for touchdowns.
Jones is considered by many to be one of the best young linebackers in the NFL.
7. Michael Brockers, defensive lineman, Los Angeles Rams
Brockers attended LSU from 2009-2011 earning second-team All-SEC honors following his redshirt-sophomore season. Brockers declared for the 2012 NFL Draft with two years of eligibility remaining.
He was selected by the St. Louis Rams with the 14th overall selection in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Brockers has been a starter for the Rams since entering the NFL, recording 162 tackles and 19 quarterback sacks.
