Cotton (6 feet 1, 262 pounds) is ranked as a top 20 defensive tackle nationally and the No. 6 prospect in Louisiana.
Baskerville (6-2, 215) is ranked as a top 20 inside linebacker nationally and the No. 17 prospect in Louisiana.
Washington (5-10, 175) is ranked as a top 35 safety nationally and the No. 21 prospect in Louisiana.
Cotton and Baskerville’s rankings are based on 247Sports Composite; Washington’s ranking comes from just 247Sports because he does not yet have a composite ranking.
For LSU, it’s the fourth, fifth and sixth recruits who have committed to the Tigers this week. Four-star cornerback Kelvin Joseph committed Monday, then three-star defensive tackle Nelson Jenkins and three-star defensive end Travez Moore did on Thursday.
Overall, the Tigers now have 10 commitments in their 2018 recruiting class, which 247Sports ranks third nationally and first in the SEC.
LSU coach Ed Orgeron appeared to celebrate the commitments of the three recruits on Twitter.
