As things stand now, LSU basically already has its 2018 recruiting class wrapped up.
Four-star outside linebacker Adam Anderson, three-star defensive end Jamarcus Chatman and three-star defensive end Jaquon Griffin all committed to the Tigers on Saturday ahead of their spring game.
All three players, who are high school teammates at Rome (Ga.) High, announced their commitments on Twitter.

“I would like to start by saying thank you to my mom, my dad, my brothers, my coaches, my girlfriend and her mom for all of the continuous support and motivation,” Chatman wrote. “Also, I want to send a huge thanks to every college coach that recognized my talent and offered me an opportunity to play college football.
“After much thought and manyprayers, I have decided to continue my football career at Louisiana State University. #GEAUXTigers”

“First, I would like to thank GOD for this opportunity,” Griffin wrote. “I would also like ot thank all the coaches and colleges who have shown interest in me and offered me a scholarship thus far. After talking it over with my family and coaches I have decided to further my education and football career with Louisiana State University. #LSU #GEAUXTigers”
Anderson (6 feet 5, 225 pounds) is ranked as a top-five outside linebacker nationally and top-15 prospect in Georgia.
Chatman (6-3, 261) is ranked as a top-15 strong-side defensive end nationally and top-35 prospect in Georgia.
Griffin (6-0, 265) is ranked as a top-50 strong-side defensive end nationally and top-100 prospect in Georgia.
All three players’ rankings are based on 247Sports Composite.
For LSU, it’s the 14th, 15th and 16th recruits of LSU’s 2018 class, which 247Sports ranks third in the nation and first in the SEC. Only Miami, who has the top-ranked class, has more commitments with 17.
Since mid-February, the Tigers have received 12 current commitments in the class. Three of those commitments include Shreveport (La.) Evangel Christian Academy teammates Davin Cotton (four-star defensive tackle), Micah Baskerville (three-star inside linebacker) and ArDarius Washington (three-star safety) who all committed on the same day at a junior day event in February.
