LSU vs. Mississippi State on Saturday night figures to determine the early season front-runner for SEC West supremacy among teams not named Alabama.

SEC West rivalries don’t come much more one-sided than this: The Tigers have won 16 of the last 17 meetings and 23 of the last 25, including a streak of 14 in a row from 2000 to 2013 – when then-quarterback Dak Prescott turned the tables.

Though both teams are unbeaten, LSU figures on paper to have the edge at most positions Saturday – unless current quarterback Nick Fitzgerald (8.9 yards per carry so far in 2017) turns the tables again.
