Decision time is approaching quickly for three-star running back Master Teague.
“I got done with all the visits and stuff, so we are now here at home praying about everything and assessing the schools and things like that,” Teague told GN.
Teague (5 feet 10, 210 pounds), from Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Blackman, is among the top 30 running back prospects in the country and a top-15 overall recruit in Tennessee for the class of 2018.
Teague has more than 20 offers, including Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee from the SEC.
“I think it’s good to be in the SEC, but I’m not sure,” he said. “If I feel like the best place is somewhere in the SEC, then I’ll go there. But if it’s not, then I have to do what I have to do. Wherever I feel is the best place, I’ll go there, whether it’s the SEC or not.
“I want to go somewhere where I feel like I can fit into their offense. I want to see how they use their running backs and how the coaches react with their players. Somewhere where I feel like home and where I can grow as a person and as a man. Of course, I’m looking for somewhere where I can get a good education as well.”

How would Teague describe his game?
“I’m a north-to-south type of back,” Teague said. “I can be better at my catching, but it’s not like I can’t catch. I keep working on my blocking and I’m getting better. I think I’m an every-down type of back.”
A decision from Teague could come in the next month or so.
“My last visit was to Georgia, so we are just here now as a family praying over everything and making sure I pick the right place,” he said.
