Ole Miss snares commitment of 4-star WR Miles Battle

What NCAA trouble? Ole Miss keeps bringing quality prospects to Oxford, and the latest is yet another addition to the Rebels’ athletic receiving corps at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

Four-star wide receiver Miles Battle committed to the Rebels on Monday, making his decision official in a video posted on Twitter.

Battle (6 feet 4, 188 pounds), from Houston Cy Creek, selected Ole Miss ahead of Oregon. He decommitted from Oregon in December but retained interest and made an official visit there January 19.

In addition to his receiving skills, Battle also excelled as a return man and averaged 26.9 yards on kickoff returns through his high school career, with one touchdown.

He becomes the 19th commitment or signee for Ole Miss in the 2018 class and the third four-star prospect, along with fellow wide receiver Elijah Moore of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas and quarterback Matt Corral of Long Beach (Calif.) Poly.
