The Ole Miss football program reached out to pop star Justin Bieber via Twitter on Friday to pique the singer’s interest in wearing a custom Rebels’ jersey.

Bieber, who has received criticism for his sports apparel choices in the past, responded to his “haters” earlier this month with a series of tweets explaining his changing taste in sports apparel.

Bieber has been labeled as a “bandwagon fan” for wearing jerseys and hats of numerous teams, including a recent photo he shared of himself wearing a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey before Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

But again, it’s “Leafs above all” for the Toronto native, so at least he won’t be splitting allegiances between SEC teams should he take up the Rebels’ offer, you know, like Kenny Chesney.
