Alabama’s Reuben Foster, considered the best inside linebacker in the 2017 NFL Draft class, reportedly is being sent home from the NFL Scouting Combine for a behavioral issue.

Foster recently had surgery on his rotator cuff and was not going to be able to participate in any of the on-field drills at the combine. But he was scheduled to have interviews with teams and undergo the combine’s normal medical testing.

The post-surgery rehab also will cause him to miss Alabama’s March 8 Pro Day, but he would be ready for the start of training camp in July.

Foster won the Butkus Award in 2016 as the nation’s top linebacker. He had 115 tackles and five sacks as a senior.
