A look at some SEC football stars who also found their ways into other sports

Baseball? Track? Bobsledding? You never know where SEC football players will wind up next, and Tim Tebow is just the latest example.

Eryk Anders

School: Alabama, 2006-09
Sport: MMA
The skinny: A solid contributor at linebacker in the start of the Nick Saban era, Anders ended his career with a BCS national championship after the 2009 season. In that game, he pummeled Longhorns quarterback Garrett Gilbert in a third-quarter strip-sack that set up a crucial insurance touchdown. Anders hits even harder now. He’s competing in mixed martial arts and moving quickly up the list of fighters in the southeastern United States. At 7-0, he’s unbeaten in MMA action.
