Snow zone: Tiger shines through winter gloom at Mizzou

Among the first rules of SEC football: No SEC field is supposed to look like Lambeau Field in Green Bay. But Missouri is making the best of it.

No matter the weather – even really nasty winter weather – it looks as if fans can always count on seeing the gold and black on the field at Missouri.

Despite heavy snowfall across the university’s campus – and much of the Midwest – the Tigers’ logo on the Faurot Field remained bright and clear, with a little help from the field maintenance staff.

The result was an image that stands out amid the gloom of winter and the disappointment of a 4-8 season.

The athletic department posted a photo on Twitter.

It’s a good thing Missouri doesn’t have a home game this Saturday. But Tigers fans will be hoping that next season, they’ll have a bowl trip to get a break from the winter chill at home.
