Some SEC teams always find a way to get involved in pre-bowl game drama. This season, it’s South Carolina – in a sport other than football.
Gamecocks players became embroiled in a heated confrontation with their Michigan opponents in a Wednesday night promotional outing before the Outback Bowl.
The event? Bowling.
Isaiah Hole of 247Sports captured it on video.

The near-ruckus occurred at Splitsville, located about four miles southeast of Raymond James Stadium.
The official feeds of the Gamecocks and Wolverines, not surprisingly, included bowling scenes but didn’t mention the confrontation afterward.

OK, everybody. Time to settle down.
Were they arguing over whether somebody got two feet in bounds? A spare overturned on a replay review? A targeting call on a defenseless bowler?
If these guys can get this upset over bowling, imagine how things might go once the football starts on Monday.
