OLB Malik Jefferson

The buzz: Jefferson (6-3, 240) is a third-year linebacker who has started 18 of his 22 games on campus. Despite playing out of position — he was in the middle, ont on the outside, where he belongs — he was named second-team All-Big 12 at linebacker and was a semifinalist for the 2016 Butkus Award. He also was the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year in 2015. He has everything you want in a linebacker, and moving to his natural position of outside linebacker should help Jefferson truly thrive in 2017 and garner national honors.
