Jimbo Fisher wanted a quarterback in his first recruiting class at Texas A&M, and he added that missing piece on National Signing Day.
Four-star quarterback James Foster signed with the Aggies on Wednesday morning, joining A&M from the heart of Alabama’s recruiting territory.
Foster (6 feet 3, 210 pounds) plays for Montgomery (Ala.) Lanier. He’s ranked as a top-20 dual-threat quarterback nationally, and he picked the Aggies over Alabama, LSU and Florida State.
He was committed to Missouri early in the recruiting process, but decommitted from the Tigers in October.
