Four-star athlete Tre Turner has received more than 20 offers, with ACC and SEC schools seemingly at the head of the line to sign him.
“I feel like I’m a dynamic football player who can get the job done when I need to,” Turner told GN. “My strengths are probably my elusiveness after the catch, my catch radius and my ability to go up and get jump balls.”
Turner (6 feet 4, 175 pounds), from Greensboro (N.C.) Northwest Guilford, is among the top-10 athletes in the class of 2018 and a top-150 prospect overall.
Turner has offers from, among others, SEC schools Florida, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee and ACC schools Florida State, Louisville, Miami, North Carolina and Virginia Tech.
“I just look for a comfortable coaching staff and a family feel with these teams and coaches,” Turner said regarding what he is looking for in a college destination.

Turner, like many highly rated recruits, has a busy travel schedule.
“I’m going to Florida State on March 25,” Turner said. “Then, I’m going to South Carolina on April 1 and Virginia Tech on April 8.”
Turner visited North Carolina on March 4. It was his second visit to Chapel Hill in 2017.
Turner says he is enjoying the recruiting process, but it is not all fun and games.
“Yes, I enjoy it,” Turner said. “Sometimes it can get aggravating talking to people every day, but I just deal with it.”
Asked if he currently had any favorites, Turner said, “I am still open to anything at the moment.”
