WATCH: Alabama fan punches TV after last-second Clemson TD beats Tide

Alabama fan punches TV

At least one Alabama fan didn’t take the Crimson Tide’s 35-31 loss to Clemson in the College Football Playoff national championship game Monday so kindly.

After the Tigers scored the game-winning touchdown on a 2-yard pass from Deshaun Watson to Hunter Renfrow with one second left, the Alabama fan violently punched the TV on which he was watching the game.

As you might expect, he broke the picture on the TV as a result of the punch.

Busted Coverage grabbed the video and shared it on Twitter. (Warning: Graphic language.)

After the punch, though, the fan and those in the room with him at least had a laugh about the incident.

For Alabama, it was its first loss after 26 straight wins and its first in a national championship under coach Nick Saban. The Crimson Tide won its previous four under Saban in 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2015.
