John FitzPatrick isn’t quite among the most highly rated tight ends prospects in the 2018 recruiting class, but that doesn’t mean he lacks in suitors.
FitzPatrick, who is 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds, chose to stay in state and committed to Georgia this week over around 50 other offers from schools across the nation. And as his high school highlights at Marist School in Atlanta show, he has the ability.
FitzPatrick, a three-star recruit, is ranked by 247Sports Composite as a top-35 tight end in the nation and top-75 overall prospect in Georgia.
FitzPatrick’s primary recruiter from Georgia is tight ends coach Shane Beamer.
