Do you have plans this weekend? Are you in Alabama fan? Will you be anywhere remotely close to Tuscaloosa?

If any of the above apply, Crimson Tide strength and conditioning coach Scott Cochran expects to see you at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday for the team’s annual A-Day spring game – or else he’s “coming to get you.”

“I want you there. I want to have this place packed,” Cochran said in a video put out by the Alabama athletic department Monday. “… Get your mind right! But get your butts in these seats. I want to see it full. We want to be the loudest stadium in the country, it starts April 22 at 2 o’clock. I want it full! Or I’m coming to get you.”

On Wednesday, the school put out a second Cochran A-Day video.

Alabama consistently ranks among the nation’s leaders in spring game attendance, which includes having the third highest total last year with 76,212. Ohio State was first with 100,189 and Georgia was second with 93,000.

So far this spring, Ohio State leads the nation in spring game attendance with 80,134; Nebraska is second with 78,312 and Clemson is third with over 60,000.

Since 2007, when the Nick Saban era began, Alabama has never had fewer than 65,175 (2015) at a spring game. Its high came in 2011 when it had 92,310.

Overall, Alabama leads the nation in spring game attendance over the last 10 years with a total of 809,744 fans for an average of 80,974 fans per game during that period.

Along with the Crimson Tide, Georgia, LSU, Penn State, Tennessee and Virginia Tech all have spring game this Saturday and likely will have big crowds.

In Tuscaloosa on Saturday, the current weather forecast calls for a partly cloudy day with a high of 89.

Cochran may be the nation’s most recognized strength and conditioning coach for his booming voice that notably fires up the crowd on the Bryant-Denny Stadium videoboards before the start of every fourth quarter.
